Comcast Day @ Drexel CCI, Presented by Philly Codefest

Comcast (presenting sponsor of Philly Codefest 2022) is coming to Drexel CCI on Thursday, April 7!

Comcast representatives will be on site at 3675 Market for a full-day of information-filled events and individual interviews.

Event Schedule:

Students are welcome to attend any of the below in-person Comcast workshops held on the 9th floor - no RSVP necessary:

• 10 a.m. session - Introduction to Comcast
• 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. session - A live group of previous Drexel students and Comcast employee panelists will share their experiences as co-ops and Comcast employees.
• 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. session - Resume Tips and Career Search

Individual interview sessions will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. CCI graduating students are encouraged to sign up here for interviews on April 7 on the 9th floor (slots are limited!): Sign up for a meeting with Comcast

Don’t forget to register to participate in Philly Codefest (April 4 to 9, 2022)!

Comcast will also be on site at 3675 Market (Quorum, 2nd Floor) on Saturday, April 9, to conduct individual and small group information sessions for all attendees.

Philly Codefest is a free software and hardware hackathon that encourages students and professionals from all experience levels and backgrounds to work together to develop innovative solutions to help solve real world challenges.

Codefest 2022 (April 4 to 9, 2022) will focus exclusively on developing novel technology solutions to ensure the safety of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its positive impacts on society, with challenges centering around (but not limited to) the following key areas:

• Fintech, Cryptocurrency & Blockchain
• Cybersecurity
• Bias and Ethical Implications of AI
• Healthcare
• Accessibility
• Environmental Impact of AI

Teams will be encouraged to work virtually from April 4 to 8, culminating in an in-person event on Saturday, April 9 at 3675 Market Street (including workshops, sponsor booths, and a "science fair" presentation of competing projects). Codefest is a free event and is open to both students and professionals of all backgrounds/skill levels.
